NEVER GIVE UP:
There is no short cut to the world's great accomplishments.
They've never been done overnight. Columbus discovered America, but was
successful after 20 years of continuous hard work. His three journeys failed,
and he eventually made a short trip twenty years later.
The key of his popularity was asked of a very wealthy businessman.
"Perseverance" he said. That is, consistency and perseverance.
So never give up on your goals, never give up. By the way, whatever we're going to do reliably, it's
getting better. This does not mean that the essence of the job shifts, rather
that the capacity to perform the work improves. Dreams are the seed of
achievement, and perseverance is the secret to success. Marble is a sturdy
rock, but a tiny drop of water that keeps dropping makes a hole in it.
Not in education. Millions of well-educated people are
unemployed. Who works harder than a worker, but scarcely makes a living? None
succeeds all who remain faithful. So, if you're going to buy that, don't go
back until you get it. Any good company and job is normally young in 15 years.
So, think from day one that you're going to have to go a long
way, wait a long time to reach exceptional success. Most people surrender when
they see the first resistance or misfortune. The effort has been scrapped and
failed.
Inconsistency is the greatest source of obscurity, resolved
by deep desire and a longing for performance. Patience is the only quality that
is more important to performance than any other quality.
